About SMS 2026 at the University of Arkansas

The Department of Marketing at the University of Arkansas (UArk) will host the annual Southeast Marketing Symposium (SMS) from April 9-11, 2026. The annual event brings together faculty and doctoral students from 11 leading institutions across the Southeastern U.S.: University of Arkansas, Florida State University, Louisiana State University, Mississippi State University, University of Alabama, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, University of Memphis, University of Mississippi, and University of Tennessee. The member schools take turns hosting the symposium, and this will be the second time UArk has hosted since the event’s inception. Attendees will take part in a series of research seminars and networking events. In addition to the academic program, participants will also get to experience some of the best of Northwest Arkansas (NWA).
