Submissions

The Southeast Marketing Symposium is inviting two student presentations from each member school for inclusion in the 2019 program. Each faculty adviser should review and approve submissions that represent your school.

We’d like to have separate sessions for papers that are still in development versus those that are completed.  Please designate whether the paper is developmental or completed when you submit your abstract.

Abstract submissions should be no longer than one page and should highlight and summarize the key components of the manuscript, offering the reader a sample of the presentation. Abstracts will be included in the symposium publication. Each abstract should also include the author name(s) and school affiliation(s), as well as the presentation title.

Presentations at the symposium should be limited to 20 minutes each and will follow AMA conference procedures.

All abstracts are due no later than Jan. 11, 2019 at 12:00pm.

Additionally, the symposium will also receive submissions for the Third Annual William O. Bearden Doctoral Student Research Award.  Information on this award can be found at this link.
